Forum Series “The Age of Sensibility”—Reframing Perception, Creativity, and the Human-AI Boundary

In early 2025, DeepSeek became the key that unlocked urgent conversations about humanity’s fate in the age of AI. In this unprecedented technological transformation, our ways of perception are being overturned, the boundaries of creativity expanded, and even the definition of “human” is being rewritten.

At the Taikang Art Museum, a dialogue about AI and art is unfolding. Spanning Six Decades: The Creative Spark of AI takes us back through the development of computer art, from early code-based drawings to contemporary AI creations. The exhibition not only showcases technological progress but also inspires us to reflect—AI is not just a technical challenge; it may also coexist with human sensibility.

Against this backdrop, we invite scholars and artists who have long engaged with artistic creation, education, and social research—Lu Zhengyuan, Gao Yanjinzi, Gao Dengke, and Wang Sha—to explore how the creative fire of the future can be sustained in the AI era, and what role human perception should play in it.
