Discover Contemporary Art Through the Sounds of Wind Chimes in a Hands-On Workshop

“Whimsical Journey for Young Creators: Children’s Guided Tour & Creation” invites young art lovers aged 5 to 12 to experience the passage of time through artworks and journey through the different visual traces left behind by each era; Through hands-on making and the sounds of wind chimes, they can capture and express the beauty of the present moment while discovering contemporary art together.

Activity Rundown

1. Interactive Guided Tour (approximately 45 minutes)

Centering on the five chapters of “Skin”, “Wind”, “Soil”, “Trace” and “Stay”, this guided tour features a selection of works from the exhibition. Through observation and discussion, children can discover the different, and sometimes similar, parent-child dynamics hidden in the works and talk about how they express love to their family. They can also try to understand the relationship between what changes and what remains constant as times change and imagine what forms art might take in the future.

2. Wind Chime Creation (approximately 30 minutes)

After the guided tour, children will create their own wind chime using natural fruit shells. Let’s set the questions we still have about art free into the wind, inspiring young minds to keep exploring, asking questions, and writing their own answers.
