Chinese Art Bamboo Picnic: In Zhao Bandi’s Little Nest

During the run of the exhibition “Zhao Bandi: Unceasing Creation, Unending Warmth,” Taikang Art Museum is launching the 【Zhao Bandi+】series. This initiative warmly invites influential figures from various fields to sit on the floor inside “The Den,” engaging in open conversations to share their profound insights and sparks of inspiration.

The inaugural session, titled “Bamboo Den Picnic: A Gathering on Chinese Art,” is a fresh endeavor following the 2017 “Chinese Painting Summit.” The event will take place within the installation “The Den,” using the format of a picnic to foster a relaxed and congenial atmosphere for dialogue. It brings together ten artists renowned for their diverse creative mediums—Chen Ke, Ge Yulu, Liu Chuang, Liu Wei, Na Buqi, Wang Guangle, Wang Xingwei, Wang Yin, Wen Jue, and Zhao Bandi—who collectively represent the boundless creativity of contemporary art.
