Chinese Art Bamboo Picnic: In Zhao Bandi’s Little Nest

During the exhibition “Zhao Bandi: Creation Unceasing, Warmth Unending,” Taikang Art Museum launched the [Zhao Bandi +] series, sincerely inviting influential figures from various fields to sit on the floor within the “Nest,” engage in open conversations, and share far-sighted insights and flashes of inspiration.

The first event in the [Zhao Bandi +] series, the “Chinese Art Bamboo Picnic,” marks a fresh endeavor following the 2017 “Chinese Painting Summit.” This event takes place on-site within the “Nest,” creating a relaxed and pleasant conversation scene in the form of a “picnic”. It brings together ten artists working across diverse creative media—Chen Ke, Ge Yulu, Liu Chuang, Liu Wei, Na Buqi, Wang Guangle, Wang Xingwei, Wang Yin, Wen Jue, and Zhao Bandi—who represent the boundless creativity of contemporary art.
