Visitor Guidelines

Photography & Videography
Non-professional photography is permitted in the galleries. The use of flash, selfie sticks, and tripods is strictly prohibited.
Prior application and approval from the Museum are required for the use of professional photographic or video equipment.

Prohibited Items
Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire venue.
The following items are not allowed inside the exhibition halls and must be stored in the provided lockers or at the cloakroom:
Food and beverages
Umbrellas and rain gear
Large bags, suitcases, and oversized items
All visitors are subject to security screening. The following are strictly forbidden:
Firearms, ammunition, controlled knives, and other hazardous items.
Lighters and other flammable/explosive materials.
Liquid items inside the exhibition halls.
With the exception of baby strollers and wheelchairs, personal transportation devices such as foldable bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and rollerblades are not permitted.

Visitors Requiring Supervision
Children aged 12 and under (or with a height of 1.4 meters and below) and individuals without legal capacity must be accompanied by a guardian. Each adult guardian may accompany a maximum of 2 children or individuals.

Additional Restrictions
Remote-controlled devices, toys, and any other items deemed by staff to disrupt the visit, endanger the artwork, or compromise public safety are prohibited.
Pets are not allowed inside the venue.

Important Notice
Please keep your valuable belongings with you at all times. The Museum is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property.
In case of an emergency, please follow the instructions of the museum staff.
Do not touch the artwork. Please be respectful and refrain from running, making noise, or any reckless behavior. Visitors will be held liable for the full cost of any damage caused to exhibits, facilities, or property and may face legal consequences.

Ticketing Information

Admission tickets are valid only for the designated date and time slot during the exhibition period. One ticket per person is required for entry verification upon admission.

Ticket Verification Methods:

Tickets purchased through the official Taikang Art Museum WeChat Mini Program can be verified directly at the exhibition hall entrance using the electronic QR code within the reserved date and time slot, or exchanged for a physical ticket at the front desk for admission. For tickets purchased on other platforms, please refer to the respective platform’s ticketing guidelines for usage instructions.

Concession Ticket Policy:

Students (Master’s degree students and below), seniors aged 60-69, medical personnel, active and retired military personnel, minors with a height of 1.2 meters or above or aged 6 and above, and persons with disabilities are eligible for concession tickets. For online purchases, please present the relevant valid documentation for admission; for on-site purchases, please show the relevant valid documentation.

Senior Arts Education Program:

Seniors aged 70 and above (inclusive) can receive a complimentary exhibition ticket upon presenting valid identification at the front desk. One weekly public welfare guided tour will be held for seniors. Seniors with limited mobility may be accompanied by one adult free of charge. Registration is available through the “Activities” section of the official Taikang Art Museum WeChat Mini Program. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Child Complimentary Admission Policy:

Each ticketed adult can bring one minor with a height of 1.2 meters (inclusive) and below or aged 6 years (inclusive) and below for free. Any additional children require the purchase of a concession ticket.

Ticket Transfer:

Exhibition tickets can be transferred via the order details page under “My – Ticket Orders”. Each exhibition ticket can be transferred once. If a transfer is desired, it must be completed no later than before the start time of the reserved session. Expired tickets for past session start times and already verified tickets are not eligible for transfer services. Example: A ticket for the session on August 25th from 14:00-17:30 can be transferred until 14:00 on August 25th.

Group Visits:

Please make group visit reservations through the respective exhibition ticket purchase page on the official Taikang Art Museum WeChat Mini Program. Groups of 10 people or more are eligible to purchase group tickets.

Refund Policy:

For tickets purchased on the official Taikang Art Museum WeChat Mini Program that are unused and untransferred, a refund can be requested through the Mini Program’s “My – Ticket Orders” within the ticket’s validity period. For physical tickets purchased at the Taikang Art Museum front desk, a refund can be requested with staff assistance at the front desk within the ticket’s validity period. Tickets that are expired, used, or transferred are not eligible for refunds or exchanges. “Expired” refers to being past the start time of the reserved session. Example: For a ticket purchased for the session on August 25th from 14:00-17:30, exceeding 14:00 on August 25th constitutes expiration of the refund validity period. The discounted amount from tickets purchased using coupon codes is non-refundable. For special exhibition projects, if there are changes to the refund and exchange policy, please refer to the ticketing policy details provided in the exhibition information. Early bird tickets and group tickets are special discounted ticket types and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable after sale.

The commercial resale of tickets for profit is strictly prohibited.
