TA STORE Philosophy

“TA” can be a whimsical‑minded artist, an aspiring designer, a polished CBD office worker, or a culture‑loving young soul who savors life. Every “TA” is both a creator of content and a recipient of inspiration. While enjoying art at the museum, we invite you to drop by TA STORE — grab a cup of coffee, flip through a book, and make new connections.

Opening hours: Monday – Sunday, 12:00 – 14:00

Collect 10 plastic bottle caps and summon a cat to save the Earth at the museum!
As plastic waste continues to pose a growing threat to our environment, Taikang Art Museum has teamed up with artist Chimney to launch the Energy Conversion Project. The Cat Coin Minting Factory is now open at the entrance of the TA STORE!

How does it work?
Bring 10 plastic bottle caps, and you can mint your very own Cat Coin.
Why Cat Coins?
Every minute, 1 million plastic bottles are consumed.
Every year, 5 trillion plastic bags are used.
Every year, 200 million tons of plastic waste are produced.
The Earth is crying for help, and TAM is responding with art! Bring your 10 plastic bottle caps to TAM and create your own unique Cat Coin. Small actions can make a big impact!

We hope the arrival of TA Coffee infuses the museum space with a touch of romance and comfort.

As visitors immerse themselves among paintings and exhibits and receive visual and auditory stimulation, they can also satisfy their taste buds with fine‑flavored coffee. While sipping their drinks, guests get to experience rich, nuanced flavours and draw clever, delightful creative inspiration — a true treat for the senses.

TA Coffee is committed to serving premium specialty coffee to guests. We uphold artisanal standards of genuine, high‑quality ingredients across every stage: from raw‑material sourcing, processing and logistics to on‑site beverage preparation. Our craft has earned professional recognition within the industry.

Our coffee beans are sourced from world‑renowned growing regions including Ethiopia and Colombia. Milk comes from naturally‑raised, EU‑certified pastures. Fresh fruit ingredients are delivered daily via cold‑chain logistics to guarantee health and nutritional quality.

TA Coffee carries forward the design philosophy of Taikang Art Museum in its interior styling. Dominated by Taikang Orange, the café features large floor‑to‑ceiling windows that create an open, airy outlook. Lush green plants mingle with jars, containers and tableware, infusing the space with warm everyday‑life vibes.

Some may say: “A latte is just a latte, an Americano just an Americano — what sets this café apart?” This is precisely the idea we wish to convey: specialty coffee is no generic commodity; it has soul.

Every cup is carefully brewed to reveal its own distinct, exquisite notes. The difference reveals itself upon slow tasting — you simply have to try it for yourself!
